MARGARET BRADLEY
Margaret Bradley, maybe Bradly, was born about
c1755. It is not known where she was born or who her
parents were.
Re the McCauley Family Bible found at Delaware
Archives, Bible Records, Vol. VI, page 30-31 Margaret
Bradly wed John McCauley son of Barney
McCauley and Ann Miller,
immigrants to Delmarva. Nothing about Margaret's
family is included.
The Bible records state that Margaret and John McCauley
had five children. Birth dates were not
included. they were:
1. John McCauley
2. Henry McCauley
3. James McCauley
4. Ann McCauley
5. Rachel McCauley
The original McCauley's had 5 sons. They
settled in both New Castle County Delaware and Cecil
county Maryland. The counties are next to each
other. I believe that our John and Margaret
McCauley settled in Delaware because later
generations of the family state they were born in
Delaware.
Unfortunately, I cannot find any further information on Margaret
Bradley McCauley.
