OLIVER AND MARY FELLO
THE STORY AS I KNOW IT
Oliver Fello was born about 1600 probably in or near Sedgeley, Staffordshire, England though it is unknown. The information given here comes from two books: The Brinton Genealogy - A History of William Brinton who came from England to Chester County, PA in 1684 by Gilbert Cope and Janetta Wright Schoonover and The Bennett Family Book, author unknown held in the LDS library. This information was made available by Shauna Fairbanks and Alan Longshore.
The Sedgeley Staffordshire Parish Register, 1558 - 1684 includes many references to this family and connecting families between 1562 and 1600: Fellow, Brinton, Bennett, Mason and Grazebrook. Sedgeley and Stourbridge are on the west edge of current Birmingham in the West Midlands..
Oliver wed Mary, last name unknown, about 1625. The Brinton Book stated that Mary was born about 1604 in
Overbury,
Worcestershire.
Overbury
is a small village about 6 miles northeast of Tewkesbury, and south of the city
of Worcester about 20 miles.
Marv
Miller with home page Quaker, New England and Kersey Genealogy
states that her name is Mary Bache, source unknown.
The only child know of Oliver and Mary Fello was Margery Mary Fello, christened Aug. 14, 1628 in Sedgeley, Staffordshire.
It is not known when or where either Oliver or Mary died or where they are buried.
